Developed by Avalanche Software in collaboration with Portkey Games and Worner Bros. seems a trend with recent releases. Are you ready for another magical experience in the wizarding world of the Harry Potter franchise? Hogwarts Legacy is a new adventure set in the realm created by J.K. I'm sure the game is pretty good otherwise but it's disappointing.

I think it's more of a political thing which I partially understand. Usually if a game is running poorly, no matter how good it is.

I think the framerate with DLSS and no ray tracing is actually worse, so it's again busted like on The Witcher 3.Įxtremely positive reviews on Steam also imply that performance is excellent. I can get stable 60fps+ without ray tracing but it kind of kills the point of getting it on PC.

Hopefully they improve performance with patches in the coming weeks. Some people review games based on the game itself rather than just giving a bad review due to performance issues. But I get a solid 60 fps (with FPS locked to 60 in MSI Afterburner) so not sure if it needs to use more GPU and CPU if it's already getting the performance?Īlso, not sure what any of that has to do with positive reviews.
